Tourist Visa to Ukraine
Ukrainian tourist visa requirements. Effective July 1, 2009
For US-citizen
Since July 1, 2005 visa free regime has been introduced in Ukraine for citizens of the United States of America, that provides visa-free entry to Ukraine and transit through its territory for U.S. citizens planning to stay in Ukraine up to 90 days.
This regulation is not extended to the immigrant visas, student visas with the purpose to study in Ukraine and for those U.S. citizens, who enter Ukraine with the purpose to work at the U.S. diplomatic/consular missions in Ukraine and to the cases if the U.S. citizens stay in Ukraine more than 90 days within the period of six months.
Ukraine Visa free regime for U.S. citizens is the practical realization of one of priorities of the Ukrainian State in the context of strengthening ties of the Ukrainian Diaspora in the United States with their historical Motherland. It will also create favorable conditions of entry to our state for representatives of American business circles, and tourism development.
For non-US citizen & ( US citizen staying in Ukraine more than 3 months)
Travel to Ukraine requires an Ukrainian entry visa. Brand New Travel helps to obtain different categories of Ukrainian visas based on the purpose of the trip and it's duration in Ukraine.
The following documents should be submitted in order to obtain Ukrainian visa regardless of its category:
- Valid passport for at least 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank visa page
- filled out and signed Ukrainian visa application
- one picture (passport size)
- check or money order in the amount specified below, depending on Ukrainian visa type plus shipping expenses
- ($15.00 priority service or $ 25.00 overnight service

In accordance with the International Law, the Ukrainian Consulate reserves the right to consider Ukrainian Visa applications in certain cases as long as it feels necessary. General Consulate of Ukraine may request additional detailed information about your journey to Ukraine. Ukrainian Visa can be denied if the Ukrainian Consulate has serious reasons to believe that an applicant's entry into or stay in Ukraine will not be desirable. In this case all Ukrainian Visa application fees are non-refundable. Ukrainian Consulate reserves the right to call the applicants for an interview and ask questions on personal, financial, business and corporate related issues as well as on applicants's Ukrainian contacts and relatives.
